A Rheostat cover allows you to change the brightness of the fiber optic as it is manually moved around to different sides of the scope perimeter. It also helps eliminate starburst when the sun is too bright by moving the Rheostat Cover in the direction where it would block the sun's rays.
The Curve RX Rheostat cover fits the Curve RX & RXP scopes, as the Curve RXF Rheostat cover fits the Curve Sjef Signature Series RXF Scope, and the Curve CX Rheostat cover fits the Curve CX & CXP scopes.
The Rheostat Covers cannot be attached to scope without installing the AC14-RPR-BK (Recurve) or AC14-RPR-WH White Ring Pin Retainer (Compound)! It cannot be fastened onto scope by itself!
